A trip to San Diego in November

In November Aaron's company sent him to San Diego for a training. We decided to tag along and make a fun family trip out of it. We enjoyed visiting Sea World and the beach. Camden loved watching Shamu's show and we went three times to see Shamu, or Shampoo, as Camden called him! Camden always wanted to sit in the soak zone, so we were a bit wet and chilly. He still goes around giving the sign and chant to make Shamu splash him.

Camden also got the opportunity to feed the Sea Lions. We bought a few fish for him to give the Sea Lions and he tried his hardest but the Sea Gulls got them all. :( An employee was walking past and gave us another round of fish free! Camden got a second chance and that time the sea lions got them all. It was so fun for him.

We also had a ball at the beach. The waves were huge! There was a pier out over the water and the waves were actually coming over the pier. The surfers were lovin' it. Camden loved to run in to the water when the waves were out, and then run as fast as he could the other way when the waves started to come back in. There were a few times when he wasn't fast enough and the waves knocked him down. He didn't like that as much.

It was a great trip and we think that we will try to head to San Diego a bit more since it is only a six hour drive. It will be great for 4 day weekends. We're happy to have it so close to us.
