A little bit of Mexico

We had a great time in Rocky Point, Mexico (Puerto Penasco)for an extended weekend getaway. We rented a home right on the beach. Camden ketp saying over and over that, "This is a great place!" He also said that the house was better than ours. Well, he was right about both of thsoe things.

We just took it easy and relaxed on the beach the whole time. The kids loved playing in the sand and the water. The water was too cold for me to enjoy, but of course that never stops kids. Audrey loves to play in the sand and dirt at home, but she was kind of funny about it there. If it got in between her toes she would lift up her feet and not move until I cleaned it all out. Of course this was a non-stop process. She also didn't want to sit in the sand, but she would sit on the towel and shovel sand all over herself and the towel. So silly.

It was a fun time and we are already planning our next trip. Anyone want to come with us? :)

The following is first a picture slideshow and second is a video. The video is of Camden and Aaron playing in the beach. I did a close up of the sand so you could see what it looked like. It is kind of a fine gravel from sea shells. Then if you look back at where the houses are, the one we stayed in is the second one from the end, next to the one with the glass surround.

Looks like so much fun! We have been twice with a group from our ward. We just camp in a tent in the RV grounds. So much fun! It is the best place to play in the ocean. I highly recommend going in October or November. The water is perfect. Fun family memories.
