My first ever fondant cake. I made it for a friend of mine's birthday, but it looked more like a baby shower cake! It was supposed to look like a birthday present. He was a good sport though and pretended to like it.
Audrey eating her bedtime snack, which is part of bedtime routine around here. This is just such a darling picture of her smile that I couldn't pass it up.

Marley turned five so we made her a dog friendly cake. It consisted of peanut butter, shredded carrots and dog food. We topped it with 5 carrot sticks as her candles. Camden insisted that we have party hats, which is a whole other story in itself.
The kids got really dirty in the backyard and this seemed the closest, easiest solution, and they liked this warm alternative to being sprayed down by the cold garden hose.
